I’m a design research leader who helps organizations make better decisions through evidence, clarity, and collaboration.

For more than two decades, I’ve led teams and initiatives at companies like Dexcom, Blink UX, Walmart, BrightDrop, and General Motors, building research practices that bridge human understanding and business strategy. Whether I’m preparing data for FDA panels, understanding changes in shopping behaviors at the onset of Covid-19, rebuilding and scaling the design research practice at the Fortune 1 company, leading field research with fleet operators, or facilitating a cross-functional sprint with product and design leaders, my goal is always the same, make products more intuitive, impactful, and human.

My journey

I began my career at the intersection of healthcare and technology, leading usability research for Dexcom’s first mobile-connected medical device, a breakthrough that redefined how people with diabetes manage their blood sugars.

At Walmart, I scaled design research across one of the world’s largest retail ecosystems, guiding teams through the pandemic’s digital acceleration and embedding researchers as strategic partners within product, design, and engineering.

At BrightDrop, I built a design research practice from the ground up for a startup within GM, helping shape a sustainable future for last-mile delivery. Now at GM, I’m leaning a growing design research practice that has spanned mobile, web, and in-vehicle design.

My approach

I believe great research isn’t just about insights, it’s about influencing the work through by having an evidence-based point of view. My teams are most effective when they’re deeply embedded, working shoulder-to-shoulder with designers, product owners, engineers, and business leaders to drive clarity and alignment. I prioritize collaboration, transparency, and storytelling as tools for cultural change — ensuring research isn’t just seen, but felt across the organization.

I truly love what I do.

When I’m not working

Outside of research and strategy, you’ll find me running, exploring nature, or spending time with my husband, kids, and our two sweet dogs.

I’m an avid runner and self-proclaimed trail junkie. I’ve raced in several ultramarathons, including a 100-miler. I find balance and clarity in movement and the outdoors. The time spent in nature keeps me grounded, curious, and ready for whatever challenge comes next.
